I purchased this for travel. I was tired of holding my phone until the tray tables can be used. This worked perfectly for my Samsung S10+. It held onto the back of the seat securely during take off and landing. I was eye level so I did not have to hold my neck down to watch a movie. Also serves as a desk holder to just prop the phone. Durable and rotates to several angles for viewing. Buying again for Xmas gifts. Small enough to fit in my belt bag as this will go everywhere. I also used it waiting on a friend at the ER so I clipped my phone to the table while waiitng. I do wish the lever was on the other side. It would make it easier to attach on wider surfaces. I just pulled it down with my fingers. Fast delivery. Another idea is to place a collapsable extension on it in case the surface is not as high. I also clipped it to the neck rest on a car ride.

So I actually ordered a two pack for our trip way in October, but it was on sale, so why not, right? I’ll be using it then on the plane so that I’m not holding my phone uncomfortably for 3 hours and can have it set up instead. I like that you can use it anywhere. It clips to virtually anything. I clipped it to my desk since I work from home and I can easily answer and take calls without having to physically pickup my phone. It also rotates and can turn into a stand, so I can bring it along with me if I’m having lunch somewhere or showing someone a video. It folds up pretty easily and fits in your hand, purse, luggage, wherever!

I love this device when I’m flying. Even when I wasn’t planning to use my phone it was so handy to clip it up on the tray and keep it out of the way so I had my hands free for other things. I wasn’t able to get it to clip securely to other items like my computer monitor or the table edge if I had it completely extended. I think it was just off balance with the weight of my phone versus the strength of the clip. But it worked perfect when clipped to the tray table on the plane.

Finally used it on an airplane tray. I’ve used holder with the tray up and down, and it held a Note 8 with no issues eve with a little turbulance. NOTE: I needed both hands to set the holder onto the tray, so have some strong fingers. Next time I fly will, take a photo.

I bought this for a long flight, so I could watch movies and read, without holding the phone up with my arms the whole time. It worked well enough. However, I had some difficulty attaching to the tray tables on some of the flights because the tray table could BARELY close back up, with the phone holder attached. Took some man handling and an apology to the lady in front of me, but I eventually got it. One of the Flight legs it didn’t fit up higher. I had to attach to the side of the tray table, where it had more flex, away from the top latch. Which wasn’t very helpful to still have my neck bent down all that time. If there’s one with a thinner base, that’d be great.
